Regional Sales Manager\Territory Manager

YWire Technologies Inc., an emerging market leader in building automation systems is seeking to fill 2 Regional Sales Manager positions. One in either the Northeast United States or Eastern Canada (with a strong preference to the greater Montreal area) and the other in Washington State or British Columbia (with a strong preference to the greater Vancouver area).

YWire Technologies has released the first Broadband over Powerline lighting control product to be sold in the commercial buildings industry. This solution can be used to install a fully networked lighting control system in an existing building without pulling a single wire. YWire is poised to be a new market leader in this underdeveloped sector.

As a successful candidate for Regional Sales Manager, you will have the opportunity to enter the market with a completely unique, competitively superior product to represent. The YWire value proposition is unmatched and your revenue prospects are considerable. The RSM will preside over a large geographical area and be responsible for sales performance as outlined by the Chief Marketing Officer.

Requirements

• Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team.
• Must be a trustworthy, self-starter and willing to take the initiative, able and willing to work without direct supervision.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Ability to represent the company in a professional manner.
• Ability to conduct exceptional product presentations both in person and via web meeting.
• Willing to travel extensively within the assigned Region. Travel will average 50% of days worked. Must live within a reasonable driving distance of a major international airport.
• Excellent oral and written communication ability. Multiple languages are a plus.
• Must be able to pass a background check including employment history, criminal history, etc.
• Must have a valid driver's license, valid passport and the ability to travel throughout the US and Canada.
• Must be goal oriented and have the ability to close.

As a Regional Sales Manager you will search your market area for partner prospects and other opportunities. You will then analyse your prospects and sign the best local representatives. You will also develop your partners to reach stated sales goals and company objectives.  

Experience in building control systems sales or engineering will be an asset. Familiarity with Niagara Framework products, lighting control or energy management will also be advantageous.

 4.22.2011, Montreal – Today YWire Technologies announced the signing of its first OEM agreement with Building Logix, an Ohio-based provider of building control infrastructure.  The agreement adds lighting control to the Building Logix umbrella of products, and establishes a new profit center for their national channel partners. 

Building Logix will private label and integrate YWire’s FiveSeries^TM Lighting Control System into their existing platform.  The FiveSeries^TM LCS is a full line of lighting control hardware that utilizes a building’s existing electrical infrastructure for communication.  The result is a high speed, and web-ready energy conservation system with no re-wiring, wall intrusion, or ballast replacement.  Installation costs to end-users can be reduced by up to 50% over competitive systems.

“Building Logix has been looking for a viable lighting platform for several years.  We needed something that was easily web manageable and future-proof.  It also had to provide an energy payback scenario that a wide variety of end-users would find economically viable”, said Building Logix Vice President, Andy Waibel.   “YWire’s products are the most elegant solution we’ve seen that answers both of those needs.”
